DOJ ends Emmett Till investigation for third time

The U.S. Justice Department said it's ending a third investigation into the 1955 lynching of civil rights icon Emmett Till, and the family is upset.

Till's family has been trying to seek justice for 66 years, and Monday's announcement led to a disappointing and painful close.

Till was then kidnapped and found in the Tallahatchie River several days later.
